The [M] studio is an open office operating in urban design, architecture, and material culture. It is notable for its research-driven approach.

Founded by Prisca Arosio, The [M] studio engages in collaboration with numerous individuals and entities.

Prisca is a Swiss-Italian architect and urban designer. She holds an MSC in Architecture, Building, and Planning from the Technical University of Eindhoven and a BSC in Architecture from Politecnico di Milano. Her expertise lies in design processes that intersect architecture, urban design, and landscape architecture.

She gained experience in diverse Amsterdam-based offices, focusing on landscape architecture and architecture projects at Kettinghuls Office, as well as urban design approaches at Basta Urbanism. She currently serves as an academic advisor and supervisor at Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUAS), Faculty of Built Environment, in the Netherlands.

Furthermore, she has actively participated in various architecture-related organizations and events. She played a role in organizing the AA Visiting School and the House of Politics in 2018. She also served on the jury panel for the 'Tamayouz Award' for Iraqi Graduation Projects Awards in 2018 and the International Graduation Projects Awards of 2021 and 2020. Prisca acts as an advisor on public space at the City Space Architecture organization as of 2021.

In 2016, Prisca founded Melita Studio, her own architectural practice. The studio has since expanded its scope of architectural projects, social and cultural research, media operations, and interior design developments. Consequently, the studio has changed its name to The [M] Studio due to the broadening of its activities.
